Duties & Responsibilities

  • Tracking global product compliance legislation and requirements using industry forums, webinars, external software, and other formats to collect regulatory intelligence data
  • Maintaining product compliance data management workflow ensuring compliance with relevant product regulations
  • Informing within Ruckus key functions, Component Engineering, Product Line Management, and development Engineering team, as appropriate, on new and changing regulations
  • Escalating issues to the Business Units Management team as necessary
  • Leading and executing small to medium projects in the product compliance area
  • Contribute to the improvement of departmental processes and operating procedures
  • Participate in the review, approval, training, and release of policies, procedures, and work instructions related to the design and production of compliant products and assemblies
  • Working with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance of all products and requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Project management or equivalent work experience
  • 3 – 7 years of related experience with compliance or materials is essential
  • Bilingual Experience in the management of regulatory compliance for electronic equipment is required
  • Knowledge of regulations and industry requirements related to global product compliance requirements (RoHS, REACH, WEEE, Safety, Wireless, EMC, Energy Efficiency, and other agencies approvals) is required
