Responsibilities
- Champion Threat Awareness Sharing Capability (TASC) suite of applications.
- Conduct threat hunt operations on assigned Big Data Platform(s).
- Present threat hunt findings through live interactive sessions.
- Aid customers with their threat hunting operations.
- Collaborate with customers to define requirements and operational gaps.
- Serve as an advisor to the customer on data enrichment and functions to enhance customer experience.
- Perform quality assurance checks on data.
- Analyze new or potential data feeds for relevance and usability.
- Support analytic requests, including data query searches, visualizations, dashboards, etc.
- Leverage advanced statistical modeling to uncover hidden patterns and translate them into visualizations.
- Create and deploy threat detection signatures.
- Collect data from various cyber defense resources.
- Interpret signatures and recognize vulnerabilities and associated attacks.
- Work with intrusion detection and prevention systems.
- Communicate findings to stakeholders of varying data knowledge levels.
- Support training events in-person or virtually.
- Write documentation on data feeds and deliverables.
- Support demonstrations of platform capabilities.
Requirements
- Clearance Requirement: Active Secret-level U.S. Government Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
- Minimum of 9+ years experience in cyber security operations related fields with a Bachelors in Information Technology, Cyber Security or related field; 7 years relevant experience with a Masters in related field; or 13 years relevant experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with DoD customers, preferably supporting US Cyber Command, DISA, or DCDC, or Service Cyber Components.
- Presentation skills, proficiency in SQL, KQL, Python, dashboarding/visualizations, and familiarity with cloud providers and environments.
- Knowledge of cyber attack stages, incident response methodologies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with others.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes.
Qualifications
- Data+, Security+, CySA+, GCIH, GNFA, GCFA or other industry recognized Cybersecurity Certifications.
- DoD SOC experience is a plus.
- Prior experience or familiarity with Big Data Platforms or Data Lake architectures is a plus.
Skills
- Threat hunting methodologies and techniques.
- SIEMs (Splunk, Q-Radar, ELK).
- SOARs (Sentinel, CORTEX, X-SOAR).
- Cloud provider environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
- Network traffic analysis methods (TCP-DUMP, Wireshark, Zeek).
- Advanced statistical modeling and visualization skills.
- Threat detection and signature development.
- Data collection and interpretation.
- Interpretation of cyber attack stages and incident response methodologies.

Pay
Anticipated Salary Range: $144,501.00 - $190,000.00. The salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities. When extending an offer, Enlighten takes a variety of factors into consideration which include, but are not limited to, the role's function, internal equity and a candidate's education or training, work experience, certifications and key skills.
