Product Builder
About the role
Turing Labs is transforming product and R&D innovation across the Consumer Packaged Goods space. We aim to address the issue of slow, manual R&D cycles by leveraging our bespoke Machine Learning tools, modern LLMs, and traditional software and data models. Our goal is to build product experiences that users can trust while innovating for the future.
Responsibilities
- Engage deeply with real-world problems and own the complete lifecycle of creating novel, differentiating solutions
- E.g., build a new way for a chemist to express their expert knowledge into our optimization tool; communicate uncertain insights to a food scientist; build an agentic tool to facilitate communication between marketing and R&D
- Cut across dimensions and identify actual problems blocking our customers from achieving their goals
- Collaborate with the team to ideate, prototype, and deliver solutions to these problems that nobody else can
- Leverage our AI-assisted tooling and workflows to iterate quickly and deliver real production code
- Within 15 days: own identification of a small problem our users face today
- Within 30 days: invent and deliver something based on conversations with our users, internal experts, etc
- Within 45 days: improve our internal product processes and tooling to help the whole team deliver better results, faster
Requirements
Aptitude for problem-solving and learning. We value initiative and a willingness to take on challenges, regardless of prior experience. A deep understanding of the core issues facing our customers and the ability to suggest non-obvious solutions. Proven high-ownership mindset, including the ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Excellent communication and candor, as you will be directly interacting with customers, users, engineers, domain experts, etc.
Qualifications
- Experience or education in Machine Learning and AI
- Experience or education in scientific computing, machine learning, data visualization and analytics, domain-specific tools, or similar
- UX experience
