Camunda is the enterprise platform for agentic orchestration, enabling organizations to coordinate AI agents, people, and systems across complex, end-to-end business processes. With built-in governance, auditability, and human oversight, Camunda gives enterprises the control they need to move AI from pilots to production — safely and at scale. Trusted by over 700 organizations worldwide, including 9 of the top 10 US banks, Camunda helps enterprises boost operational efficiency, accelerate time-to-value, and deliver better customer experiences. Fully remote and global, we are transforming into an AI-first organization, built on our own platform.

About The Role

At Camunda, we are evolving how software gets built. We are looking for a Product Builder to help shape the enterprise and governance experience of Camunda Hub by combining product thinking, user empathy, UX judgment, and hands-on execution. This is a high-ownership role inside our Products organization for someone who wants to move quickly, work directly with customers and forward-deployed engineers, and build in an AI-first environment.

Camunda Hub is the unified management platform through which teams govern their processes, manage access, and administer the platform at enterprise scale. You will join the Enterprise & Governance pod, which owns the surfaces enterprise Centres of Excellence and platform administrators rely on: access control and permissions, workspace and tenant management, audit and compliance features, and the administration and configuration UI for clusters and platform settings. The role will contribute across the full stack, enabling faster end-to-end product delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Discover and clarify meaningful user problems for administrators, CoE teams, and enterprise architects by working closely with customers, forward-deployed engineers, and internal stakeholders
  • Shape product direction through practical judgment, fast iteration, and a strong focus on solving the underlying problem rather than only implementing requests
  • Prototype, build, harden, ship, and iterate on product improvements across the enterprise and governance surfaces of Hub—access control, workspace and tenant management, audit and compliance, and platform administration
  • Use AI tools effectively to accelerate first drafts, implementation steps, iteration, and learning while maintaining a strong quality bar
  • Work closely with other builders and product strategy counterparts to turn ideas into shipped outcomes, including across boundaries with Core / Identity where governance surfaces build on platform contracts
  • Improve the speed, quality, and effectiveness of how the pod delivers product end-to-end

Requirements

  • Ability and/or willingness to use our product
  • Experience shipping product directly in a software environment
  • Ability to work fluidly across product thinking, user experience, and hands-on delivery
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and turning open-ended problems into practical next steps
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a remote-first, pod-based environment
  • Curiosity about users, fast learning loops, and a bias toward improving the product through iteration
  • Hands-on experience building and shipping product in a software context, not only coordinating roadmap or requirements
  • Strong AI-native delivery habits: able to use AI tools effectively for first drafts, implementation steps, and iteration, while reviewing and improving weak output rather than accepting it
  • Ability to describe and shape intended user experience clearly, including flow, hierarchy, states, copy, and accessibility expectations
  • Strong product and customer judgment: able to understand the user problem behind a request, use lightweight evidence and customer feedback, and make pragmatic decisions that create broader product value
  • Sound technical judgment within an established architecture, including the ability to test what was built, trace issues, understand frontend/backend boundaries, and contribute beyond a pure frontend scope over time

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with workflow software, orchestration, admin/platform tooling, or similarly technical product surfaces
  • Experience working in small, high-autonomy pods with broad ownership across discovery, design, and delivery
  • Familiarity with enterprise governance concerns: identity and access management, RBAC and permission models, multi-tenancy, audit logging, or compliance-driven requirements
  • Experience designing for administrator and platform-operator personas
  • Ability to capture validation learnings clearly, distinguish signal from noise, and help improve lightweight product validation practices
