Position Overview
The Product Application Engineer is responsible for leading and managing engineering-related cost savings initiatives in alignment with customer agreements, supporting revenue growth through new product and process introductions, providing technical support to internal teams and external customers, training internal stakeholders on new products and processes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering-related cost savings initiatives in alignment with customer agreements
- Support revenue growth through new product and process introductions that meet corporate goals for inventory turns and operating income
- Provide technical support to internal teams and external customers
- Train internal stakeholders on new products and processes
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction (3.0 or higher on annual customer surveys)
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations while upholding Endries International’s ethical standards
- Stay current on industry trends and technical knowledge through ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience & Skills:
- Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Sales or customer relationship-building experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements
