Product and Business Strategy Principal, Gemini App, DeepMind
About the role
Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the Generative AI ecosystem for trends and developments, conducting assessments to inform the Gemini strategy and product roadmap. Develop strategic narratives and business reviews to align stakeholders from working teams up to executive leadership.
- Own the end-to-end product planning lifecycle for a specific area of the Gemini app product. Drive the completion of planning cycles and ensure central alignment across the organization.
- Manage the queue and prepare for high-stakes executive reviews. Drive the preparation and content quality for these forums, ensuring narratives are prepared in advance.
- Support large-scale GTM programs in international markets and for key user cohorts to translate Gemini strategy into execution.
- Lead the program management of critical cross-functional initiatives. Be responsible for tracking progress on non-technical work stages, such as strategy and use case development, and ensuring operational efficiency across teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company. Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects.
- Preferred qualifications: Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience. Experience developing, instituting, and running product development processes at scale. Experience designing product strategies specifically in the field of Generative AI or consumer applications. Ability to manage data analysis for business insights in the technology sector using SQL and spreadsheet software.
Pay
$277,000 - $309,000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
