The Product Analyst (PA) role supports Yearbook Technology platforms, ensuring clear requirements, operational rigor, and efficient execution.
What You Will Do
- Partner with Product Managers to define and refine requirements for Yearbook Technology platforms.
- Analyze advisor, student, school, and internal user feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Translate business objectives and customer needs into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and development-ready requirements.
- Support product roadmap planning by providing business analysis, product insights, and delivery readiness recommendations.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and solution validation to ensure delivered functionality meets business and customer expectations.
- Develop a strong understanding of yearbook business processes and serve as a subject matter expert for supported product areas.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to agile delivery practices, requirements management standards, and cross-functional operating models.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of business requirements gathering, BRD creation, process mapping, and functional documentation.
- Strong organizational and execution management skills with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Advanced Jira administration, configuration, dashboard creation, reporting, and workflow management experience.
- Experience managing and maintaining product backlogs and requirements within Jira and Confluence.
- Experience working within Agile Scrum teams, including backlog management, sprint planning, story refinement, estimation, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Experience partnering directly with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and Engineering teams in an Agile product development environment.
Education, Certification And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science & Engineering, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, product operations, product delivery, or cross-functional technology initiatives involving multiple systems, stakeholders, and delivery teams.
