About the role
We are looking for a highly skilled Product Analyst with a deep understanding of eliciting and documenting requirements. This role is part of a collaborative and agile team that supports and builds modern, standards-based responsive web applications for mission-critical health IT solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers, users, and other contractors to gather, understand, and document business, functional, technical & non-technical requirements.
- Conduct Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, work group calls and engage customers to provide requirements and feedback.
- Conduct user research and usability testing.
- Develop and sustain Requirements Tractability Matrix (RTM).
- Develop Change Requests per established policies and procedures.
- Develop user stories and requirement documents as per project standards and guidance.
- Follow agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban) and deliver requirements/specifications for Sprint teams.
- Provide clear qualitative and quantitative information to teams and stakeholders.
- Support change control processes established to monitor and control project scope.
- Work with customers, users, and other contractors to gather, understand, and document business, functional, technical & non-technical requirements.
- Follow agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban) and develop user stories with robust acceptance criteria.
- Support change control processes established to monitor and control product vision.
- Communicate with management, peers, and customers effectively and professionally.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.
- Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States.
- Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years.
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a product owner, business analyst, product analyst, leading requirements capture, management and analysis activities along all phases of the agile software development and developing business process models.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, etc.). Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Project/Smartsheet.
- Experience with manual testing of software products.
- Knowledge of flow charts and UML using Visio, Lucidchart or similar tools will be a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Expertise with Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Trello, etc.
- Knowledge of Healthcare, Medicare & Medicaid systems & data. 5+ years of experience in healthcare domain is required.
- Experience with manual testing of software products.
- Creative, visionary, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and must be detailed oriented.
