About the role
The Producer is the operational backbone of Solace's in-house video team, partnering closely with editors, creatives, marketers, and stakeholders to bring compelling stories to life. This role spans both production and post-production, ensuring projects move smoothly from concept through final delivery.
Responsibilities
- Co-own shoot production end to end: scheduling, location logistics, crew and vendor booking, gear coordination, call sheets, and day-of production management
- Build and manage production budgets, track spend, and handle vendor payments and reconciliation
- Source and manage relationships with freelance crew, rental houses, studios, and other vendors across multiple markets
- Coordinate vendors for company offsites and events, including stage visuals, A/V production, and event photography
- Cook with interview subjects - often patients, caregivers, and advocates - with care, discretion, and professionalism
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience producing video, with meaningful time spent in both field production and post-production coordination
- Track record of independently running shoots of varying scale, including travel productions
- Experience building and managing budgets, negotiating with vendors, and handling payments
- Strong organizational instincts - you build systems, not just to-do lists
- Excellent stakeholder communication; you can push back diplomatically and keep projects moving
- Fluency in post workflows (review platforms, versioning, delivery specs); you don't need to edit, but you need to speak the language
- Emotional intelligence and discretion - our subjects often share personal health stories, and we treat that trust seriously
