Producer, Features Video

Key Responsibilities

• Develop original story ideas and translate them into engaging visual narratives
• Create work that lives natively on social media (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
• Conduct thorough pre-production planning, including reporting, scripting, booking and logistics
• Produce shoots in the field or studio, directing crew and talent to capture high-quality footage
• Edit or supervise the editing of video content, ensuring strong storytelling, pacing and visual cohesion
• Collaborate with reporters and editors to refine stories
• Troubleshoot production challenges and offer solutions that adhere to deadlines

Requirements

• 5+ years video journalism experience at a major news organization or production company
• Experience creating video pieces covering music, culture, lifestyle, style, travel, science and/or entertainment is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of what makes a good digital video
• Demonstrated sense of visual style
• Excellent news judgement
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate with global teams
• Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
• Experience creating motion graphics is not required, but a plus

Compensation

Pay Range: $77,000.00 - $143,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
