About the role
We are seeking an experienced Property & Casualty Producer to drive new business development, expand existing relationships, and contribute to the continued growth and profitability of the business.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Profit Center and Sales Leadership to develop and execute strategic growth plans aligned to business objectives
- Actively prospect and generate new business opportunities through calls, networking, referrals, and relationship-building initiatives
- Build, manage, and maintain a robust pipeline using CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Deliver consultative recommendations by analyzing client needs, designing solutions, and positioning coverage strategies
- Lead client-facing engagements, including stewardship meetings, renewals, and long-term planning discussions
- Collaborate with Account Management, Marketing, and service teams to ensure seamless execution and client experience
- Develop strong relationships with key clients, prospects, and centers of influence
- Stay current on market trends, product offerings, and industry changes to deliver informed guidance
- Contribute to the development of junior producers, mentoring and supporting growth as needed
- Represent Brown & Brown within the community through networking, industry involvement, and professional organizations
Requirements
- Proven success in Property & Casualty sales and business development within the insurance industry
- Strong book-building mindset with a track record of generating and closing new business
- Experience using CRM systems to track activity and manage pipeline
- Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to influence outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
