Producer
Responsibilities
Identify and create content, work closely with reporters on story development, craft a newscast that includes more than just story placement, focus on thoughtful transitions and breakout opportunities, strong tease writing, creative use of graphics, and advanced production techniques. Must be solid in the booth with effective communication skills, the ability to make quick decisions and manage breaking news.
Requirements
- Minimum two years proven experience as a line producer in a medium or large market preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills required.
- Results-oriented, innovative, demonstrates teamwork and willing to work weekends.
- Bachelor’s or technical degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field preferred.

About the Role
