About the role
The role involves managing employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and providing support to employees regarding their benefits.
Responsibilities
- Manage and administer various employee benefit plans including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
- Ensure all benefit programs comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Communicate with employees about their benefits and answer any questions they may have.
- Handle claims processing and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Prepare reports and provide data analysis related to benefit usage and program effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in employee benefits administration.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret benefit plan data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
