Producer

Audacy Minneapolis is seeking an experienced Part-Time Producer to join the Programming department, reporting to an On-Air Personality. This on-site role is based in Milwaukee, WI.

Responsibilities

• Produce radio programs that meet programming standards
• Operate and learn multiple board operating styles
• Manage radio clocks, logs, and scheduling
• Utilize computer audio software, Adobe Audition, and Wide Orbit
• Leverage social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram) for content distribution and audience engagement
• Adapt to new tools and technologies to enhance content and sales
• Work on-site or on location as needed
• Multitask across various duties in a fast-paced environment
• Ad-lib coherently during live broadcasts and appearances
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Comply with company and FCC policies and procedures
• Travel to and participate in station promotional and sales appearances

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as a producer or on-air contributor
• Passion for current events, news, pop culture, and local happenings
• Ability to evaluate content, quality, and sound with decisive judgment
• Knowledge of new media applications for digital distribution and community networking
• Strong interpretative and problem-solving skills in a spontaneous, fast-paced environment
• Self-management of workload with priorities aligned to show content and production needs
