A full-time on-site Producer role in Sacramento, CA, reporting to the Brand Manager within the Programming department.
About the role
ESPN 1320 in Sacramento is seeking a self-starting afternoon producer who thrives in the studio, collaborates effectively, and takes direction well. The producer will run the control board, generate daily topics, assist with guest ideas, edit audio, and manage social media coverage for on-site events and press conferences.
Responsibilities
- Run the control board and follow station format.
- Arrange and play commercials and IDs according to program and commercial logs.
- Follow all applicable laws and FCC regulations.
- Maintain digital show accounts across all platforms.
- Ideate show topics and provide resources to advance discussions.
- Screen calls professionally during live shows.
- Handle audio and sound production, including podcasting.
- Collaborate with on-air staff, commercial production, and digital teams.
- Produce video content for YouTube and other social media channels.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of digital audio recording and editing equipment (preferred).
- Thorough knowledge of Sacramento/Northern California sports (preferred).

Pay
The anticipated starting salary range for this position is $35,000–43,000 per year. Final salary will be determined based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, location, and internal/external equity.
