About the role
The Sports Business Unit at 2K is seeking a Publishing Producer to work across our AAA Sports franchises. This role involves leading critical publishing operations and end-to-end delivery pipelines, acting as "mission control" during game launches, and managing designated portions of a AAA game budget.
Responsibilities
- Leading the overall game submission process from pre-certification to post-launch
- Triage effectively between the development team, QA, and Release Management to ensure timely shipping
- Driving the integration of backend/core tech services into in-development games
- Designing and running processes for internal game evaluation
- Converting deep knowledge of games into actionable business requirements
- Supporting Publishing Production leadership with executive-facing presentations
- Travel and line management of junior Production staff (if required)
Requirements
- 4-5+ years of game development experience, preferably in AAA or live-service environments
- Strong project management and production experience, with a proven track record of taking full games/features from inception to ship
- Deep understanding of the game development lifecycle
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Financially competent, managing budgets for small games or bespoke areas of large games
- Passion for the gaming market, able to discuss current industry trends and apply learnings to our own games
- Highly coachable, seeking constructive feedback and operating with a growth mindset
- No ego approach, believing that success is a team effort
Qualifications
- Lived experience of the difference between Publishing and Development Production
- Experience with Google Suite, especially Sheets, Slides, and Docs
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook
- Experience with Jira (bonus points)
- Familiarity with golf, both the sport and the surrounding culture
- Experience playing AAA sports or other live service games

Pay Range
The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $108,900 and $161,160 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates.
