Produce Team Member - Day

Schedule

Part-time position requiring day availability between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with flexible weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pack fruit baskets as needed.
• Replenish ice to display cases where applicable.
• Clean department area, including equipment, containers, storage areas, aisles, and display cases; keep products and supplies well organized.
• Operate equipment if over 18 years of age.
• Operate price scale with knowledge of current prices; price or change price tags on merchandise using the price list and in coordination with the scan department.
• Prepare and promote department samples.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and crates of merchandise; check invoice against items received.
• Promptly clear floor of all restocking equipment and debris.
• Prepare, package, and rotate product according to departmental guidelines.
• Set and sign displays of merchandise to attract customers and promote sales.
• Take and process customer orders according to customer request, ensuring product is ready on time.
• Take inventory or examine merchandise regularly to identify items needing reorder or replenishment.

Work environment

Employees are regularly exposed to cold temperatures while working in or around coolers.

Physical requirements

Ability to lift 25–50 lbs.

Pay

$14.00 per hour
