Responsibilities

• Pack fruit baskets as needed
• Replenish ice to display cases
• Clean department area, including equipment, containers, storage areas, aisles, and display cases
• Maintain organization of products and supplies
• Operate equipment (if over 18 years of age)
• Operate price scale and update prices as needed
• Price or change price tags on merchandise using the price list and coordinating with the scan department
• Prepare and promote department samples
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and crates of merchandise; verify items against invoices
• Clear floor of restocking equipment and debris promptly
• Prepare, package, and rotate product according to departmental guidelines
• Set up and sign displays to attract customers and promote sales
• Take and process customer orders, ensuring timely product readiness
• Monitor inventory and reorder or replenish items as needed

Requirements

• Regular exposure to cold temperatures while working in or around coolers
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs
