Produce Supervisor – Full-Time

About the role

Our Royal Oak store is looking for a full-time Produce Supervisor to lead a passionate produce team. You’ll create eye-catching displays, ensure top-notch freshness, and deliver outstanding customer service. In the absence of Department Managers, you’ll train staff, place orders with distributors, design displays, and guide the team daily.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise produce team members
• Place orders with distributors
• Create and maintain attractive, fresh produce displays
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Prioritize tasks, follow directions, and manage time effectively
• Comply with department procedures and safe work practices
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety procedures

Requirements

• At least two years of management experience preferred
• Solid knowledge of produce items
• High level of motivation and a proactive attitude
• Heightened attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow directions
• Willingness to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Openness to coaching and feedback

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs consistently
• Ability to walk and stand for the duration of scheduled shift

Schedule

Flexible full-time schedule, including evenings and weekends, posted in advance.
