About the role
Implement all company and division policies to achieve maximum sales and profits in the produce departments.

Responsibilities
- Work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights as the work demands.
- Work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Understand and apply all key components of department operations (Managing people, merchandising, computer assisted ordering, inventory management, shrink control, customer services, labor scheduling, expense control, etc.).
- Communicate effectively with employees, customers, and supervision.
- Make intelligent decisions quickly and handle stressful situations calmly.
- Handle customer complaints and make recommendations regarding hiring, firing, disciplining, demoting, transferring, and evaluating produce department personnel.
- Manage and train produce department personnel.
- Plan, organize, direct, and control produce department activities.
- Manage and maintain produce department inventories and ensure proper stock and supplies.
- Analyze and make changes to produce department aspects as needed.
- Support and interact with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
Requirements
- Minimum Willing to be flexible and work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights as the work demands.
- Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Produce work experience or similar experience in food preparation.
- Past work record reflecting dependability and integrity.
- Ability to work in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Aptitude to manage people and organize workloads.
