About the role

Peddler's Son is looking for full or part-time delivery associates that are enthusiastic, team players to deliver Peddler's orders. Must have a clean driving record and pass a pre-employment drug test. (Safety Sensitive Job)

Responsibilities

  • Must have a clean driving record and pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Drive safely obeying all traffic laws and maintain product integrity.
  • Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
  • Use a handheld device for routing information, customer delivery information.
  • Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
  • Load and unload packages to be delivered.
  • Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
    • Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
    • Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 23 years old.
  • High School diploma or equivalent with good written and verbal skills.
  • Enjoy working with people in a fast paced and exciting environment.
  • Must be able to pass a driving skills practical test administered by company Transportation Manager.
  • Must pass a pre-employment, post accident and random drug testing and background checks are required for all applicants for this position.
  • Must be able to pass the DOT physical completed at a MBI center.
  • Have a good understanding of the metropolitan area and able to navigate from map(s) and directions.
  • Willing to work flexible schedule including evenings, some weekends and holidays.
  • Physically able to sit for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with no DWI convictions, revocation, or suspensions within the past 4 years.
  • No more than 1 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Qualifications

Professional Drivers are expected to be well presented in company uniforms drive safely obeying all traffic laws and maintain product integrity. Benefits

Company vehicle provided ( No CDL or DOT required ). All Drivers MUST provide a 39-month MVR prior to test driver

$12.00 - $16.00
