Responsibilities

• Aids in scheduling, staffing, and hiring to meet departmental needs
• Promotes career paths and development through succession planning
• Makes recommendations for disciplinary actions and employee discharges
• Achieves departmental profit and loss (P&L) goals by managing sales, labor, and margins
• Reviews sales goals, supply costs, stock loss, and shrink results
• Ensures exceptional customer service by managing product ordering, receiving, and stocking
• Ensures department cleanliness and adherence to food safety protocols
• Supervises and trains team members in the absence of the department manager
• Executes advertising set compliance and signs
• Maintains a safe and organized work environment
• Performs other daily tasks as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of related retail experience
• One year of management experience
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus

Pay

The pay range for this position is $16.05 - $25.15 per hour. Specific pay rates will be within this range and based on your experience, qualifications, and skills compared to the internal team of this role.
