Produce Clerk

About the role

The Produce Clerk is responsible for the proper stocking and rotation of merchandise in the produce and floral department, including trimming, watering, and merchandising of products to ensure fresh, high-quality offerings.

Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate produce and floral items to maintain freshness and quality.
• Trim, water, and merchandise products as needed.
• Ensure all produce and floral items are displayed attractively and meet safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Pay

$18.47 to $21.00 per hour based on experience.
