About the role
Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards.
Responsibilities
- Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service.

- Handle stressful situations effectively.
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
- Manage inventory and maintain product quality.
- Answer customer questions and recommend products.
- Prepare and package merchandise.
- Monitor and report on product ordering/shipping discrepancies.
- Comply with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions.
- Resolve customer and business issues through direct interaction.
- Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
Requirements
- Ability to handle stressful situations.
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic math.
- Current food handlers permit.
- Comparable retail experience.
- Desired previous job experience.
- Second language proficiency (speaking, reading, and/or writing).
