Produce Clerk

At Rosauers Supermarkets, we believe that fresh and vibrant produce is the heart of healthy living. As a Produce Clerk, you'll be at the forefront of bringing nature's bounty to our customers' tables.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet customers with a smile and help them locate various produce items.
• Assist customers by answering questions about our produce and provide recommendations.
• Wash, peel, cut, and package various types of fresh produce.
• Stock and rotate fresh produce.
• Regularly check the freshness of fruits and vegetables on display and ensure all produce is fresh.
• Remove produce items that do not meet our quality standards and/or show signs of spoilage.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist to ensure the produce display area is always well-stocked.
• Keep up to date with present, future, seasonal, and special ads in the produce department.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Candidates must be 18+ years or older.
• Complete a pre-employment background check.
• Weekend availability.
• Current food workers card (where applicable) once employed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge and passion for produce.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to regularly lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
