About the role
We are a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to serving communities and providing exceptional service and value. We operate +40 full-service supermarkets across Wisconsin. As a Produce Clerk, you'll engage with guests, maintain stock levels, and uphold high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Responsibilities
- Engage with Guests - Provide outstanding customer service in-person and via phone, assist guests in finding items, taking orders, and addressing concerns.
- Maintain Stock Levels - Ensure all items are well-stocked and rotated using the first-in, first-out method to maintain freshness.
- Keep the Sales Floor & Cooler Clean - Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and cooler, and log temperatures and complete rotation sheets/daily shrink recording.
- Maintain Supplies & Produce Cooler - Ensure produce supplies are well-stocked and rotate items using the first-in, first-out method. Order specific products as needed.
- Teamwork - Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
- Honor Commitments - Regular, timely attendance and adequate notice for absences.
Requirements
- Customer Service Skills - Ability to engage with guests and provide outstanding service.
- Communication - Good oral and written communication skills.
- Teamwork - Ability to work effectively with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Safety Awareness - Understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies.
- Physical Demands - Full range of upper body motion, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Knowledge - Knowledge of the retail food business and perishable department operations.

Pay & Schedule
- Pay - Weekly pay with a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays.
- Schedule - Part-time position, scheduled for 28 hours a week or less, shifts vary and may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
