FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Communicate with Country Store Manager.
- Maintain a working relationship with entire Country Store staff.
- Keep display areas stocked and the product rotated according to product standards.
- Aid customers with product selection, preparation, packaging, questions, and any other requests.
- Assure department product displays and signage are maintained.
- Ensure that merchandise in the display case is fresh, in saleable condition, and properly priced with correct signage.
- Receive and inspect incoming products for quality and accuracy.
- Responsible for cleaning and trimming produce.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation and surrounding areas.
- Follow all guidelines and procedures outlined in department and health and safety manuals as set by the Country Store Manager.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge: High school diploma or GED; previous customer service experience preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions, which are furnished in written and oral form; ability to deal with problems involving standard and nonstandard situations; ability to communicate and work well with others; commitment to superior guest service; proven organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
