About the Role

A Fresh Cut Produce Clerk is hands-on with fresh fruits and vegetables—slicing, dicing, and packaging produce to perfection. You’ll check for freshness, maintain clean and organized prep areas, and create attractive displays that delight customers. This role also involves assisting with inventory management, restocking, and customer service. The position is active and fast-paced, ideal for someone who enjoys working with food, has a positive attitude, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Slice, dice, and package fresh produce
• Check produce for freshness and quality
• Maintain clean and organized prep areas
• Create attractive produce displays
• Assist with inventory management and restocking
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service
• Follow food safety and handling guidelines

Requirements

• Prior experience in grocery, food service, or produce prep preferred
• Comfortable using knives and other prep tools with attention to safety and precision
• Ability to identify quality produce and adhere to freshness standards
• Friendly and helpful attitude with strong customer service skills
• Capable of multitasking and managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs. with or without accommodation
• Willingness to support fellow associates and contribute to a positive store culture
