The Produce Clerk position at the 058 Dallas Fort Worth-Spring Valley Store is a great opportunity for those who love providing excellent customer service, interacting with the community, and handling fresh produce.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates the perishable (produce) displays.
• Works under the supervision of the Produce Manager.
• Lifts up to 50 lbs, bends, stands, and stoops for prolonged periods.
• Works in a typical fast-paced grocery store environment.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write Spanish/English.
• Ability to interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred).

Qualifications

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods.
