About the role

The Buyer will manage product lines in the Fresh Produce Department using proprietary software tools. Responsibilities include inventory management, pricing negotiations, vendor relationship maintenance, and communication with sales force and top management.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing and expediting manufacturer product lines
• Inventory management and replenishment
• Pricing negotiations
• Maintenance of vendor relationships
• Communication with sales force and top management
• Developing technical product expertise on all produce vendor lines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field
• 1-2 years experience in purchasing preferred
