What you'll do...
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service.
Be flexible to the needs of the business and work in other areas as needed.
Track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner.
Understand the processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise.
Prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to established standards.
Maintain product safety and follow company sanitation guidelines.
Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality.
Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
Utilize hand-held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind.
Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Drive the performance of the area by utilizing digital tools.
Use perpetual inventory management techniques to stock and rotate department products.
Ensure quality and date control standards.
Eliminate waste.
Guide peers and provide attention to customer needs.
Assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
Be an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the produce area and modeling high-quality service and products.
