About the role

As the Produce-Floral Manager, you will lead department inventory, pricing integrity, and operational processes with a strong attention to detail. This fast-paced position demands efficiency, effectiveness, and a passion for excellence to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and proactively assist them in a friendly manner with accurate and timely service recommendations, accommodating special requests
• Manage order guides, ordering deadlines, and reduce shrink/damage
• Properly receive and stock goods, following rotation standards when replenishing product levels
• Direct teams to handle, slice, and prepare specialty produce items, fruit and veggie platters/trays, and Convenient Meal Solutions while maintaining quality product levels as indicated within TFM standards
• Engage, motivate, coach, and train team members “on-the-job” and through The Fresh Market’s internal training platform to provide excellent guest service in a safe and secure manner

Schedule

This position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Requirements

• 3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality field
• Ability to read, understand, and follow planograms, layouts, and schematics of the department for merchandising
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be at least 18 years old
