About the role
Eaton’s Electrical Sector - ARS division is currently seeking a Procurement Supervisor for our Fibrebond team based at our manufacturing campus in Minden, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Drive supply chain improvements, supervise raw material inventory levels, and set control guidelines.
- Own material planning and track inventory transactions to align with demand needs.
- Proactively identify cost savings and cost out opportunities for assigned commodities.
- Drive accountability of supplier quality and adherence to Eaton’s supplier policies.
- Monitor and drive accountability on supplier performance metrics (on time delivery, quality, customer service, invoicing, etc.).
- Create commodity plans, negotiate with suppliers, and conduct supplier analysis and cost-benefit evaluations in conjunction with the global purchasing organization.
- Support order and procurement of capital material to fulfill CAPEX projects.
- Use ERP systems and Lean methodology for procurement planning and address invoice and receipt discrepancies promptly.
- Recommend improvements for purchasing functions and adhere to standard departmental processes.
Qualifications
- Basic (required) Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited institution. Five (5) or more years of experience in materials management, supply chain, or purchasing.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution. Two (2) or more years of leadership experience, directly managing employees. Previous experience operating a web-based ERP system. Seven (7) years of progressive experience working in supply chain, including procurement. Previous experience working in supply chain and/or procurement in a manufacturing environment. C.P.M. /CPSM or CPIM /CSCP certification (APICS/ISM).

Pay
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
