Procurement Specialist, Repairs

The Procurement Specialist, Repairs will be responsible for overseeing all phases of outsourcing part maintenance, repair, overhaul, and delivery, as well as adherence to all AAR policies and procedures. What You Will Be Responsible For Manages, Plans, creates, organizes, tracks, and expedites the outsourcing of part repairDevelops, evaluates, recommends, and manages repair vendors, ongoing relationships, and quality. Review, negotiate, approve vendor quotes, and support management of vendor contractual obligationsPeriodically analyze and discuss program performance Meet or exceed all Procurement Key Performance IndicatorsCommunicate with various departments to manage the timely flow of parts (e.g. Program Management, Operations, Accounts Payable, Shipping, Quality, etc.)Perform vendor and order management for assigned parts to proactively ensure customer commitments are maintainedEnsure each transaction is compliant with all purchasing policies and proceduresSupport various departments with and participate in government and regulatory auditsSuggest and participate in continuous improvement activities to drive process efficienciesAll other duties as assigned What you will need to be successful in this role: Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, Government contracting, or aviation procurement strongly preferredAdvanced in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access) This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Compensation The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually.
