Job Summary
The Procurement Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end RFP and procurement process to support strategic sourcing initiatives across the organization. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to drive cost-effective, high-quality procurement outcomes while balancing total cost of ownership, commercial risk, and operational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Cook up and oversee bidding processes and keep track of key procurement milestones to make sure projects run smoothly.
- Do deep dives on bids and lead talks with vendors to get the best prices, terms, and service levels.
- Write and prepare detailed contracts that match our company's standards and rules.
- Check project scopes of work and technical specs to make sure they're clear, accurate, and fit what we need.
- Find ways to save money and add value to our purchases without lowering quality.
- Drive and help out with big procurement plans across different parts of the company.
- Be the main person who talks to internal teams and external vendors to make sure everything runs efficiently, legally, and brings value.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Real Estate/Construction experience
- Experience estimating costs required
- Advanced Excel skills
- A degree in Engineering is preferred
