Procurement Program Manager
About the role
The Kelly On-site Manager Operations oversees the tactical operational engine associated with our external clients. This role involves the direct supervision of a team of Marketing Coordinators, ensuring seamless delivery of business process outcomes. The manager serves as a strategic partner to client leadership, driving process efficiencies and maintaining the highest standards of financial and operational compliance.
Responsibilities
Operational Supervision: Manage, train, and mentor a team of (10+) Marketing Coordinators. This role plays a critical role in supporting requests for processing: Purchase Orders, Contracts, Sponsorships, Advisory Boards, Fee For Services. Oversee day-to-day support, including workload balancing, hiring, counseling, and problem resolution.
Specialized Support Functions: Provide subject matter expertise and oversight for critical Oncology support functions, including:
- Procurement & Contracting: Navigating the lifecycle of vendor contracts and purchase orders.
- Marketing Engagement and Education Activities Support: Overseeing the Administrative tasks for Advisory Boards (AdBoards), Fee For Service, Steering Committees, and other high-level meeting requests.
- Meeting & Scientific Support: Overseeing the operational logistics for Advisory Boards (AdBoards), Steering Committees, and other high-level meeting requests.
Change Management & Efficiency: Actively drive change by identifying gaps in current workflows and implementing process efficiencies. Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to reflect the evolving business landscape.
Compliance and Policy Stewardship: Ensure all work is performed in a compliant manner according to healthcare compliance (HCC) and procurement guidelines.
Requirements
Experience with Purchase Orders, Contracts, Sponsorships, Advisory Boards, Fee For Services required
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry required
Direct P&L program management experience is preferred
5+ years of management experience, including 3+ years leading a large team
High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree in project management or a related field preferred
Strong background in procurement, contract management, and support for advisory boards, fee-for-service, and committee operations
Proven ability to drive change and increase efficiency in complex environments
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba)
Meticulous documentation and continuous learning mindset
Strong relationship management skills with internal and client stakeholders
