Procurement Manager, Senior

Research and negotiate major organizational contracts and procurements. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate requirements for hardware and software procurements in support of a U.S. DoD government Prime Contract, including FAR and DFARS flow-downs, special requirements, and performance work statement
• Establish CPSR compliant procurement files greater than $250,000, including small business subcontracting plans, cost accounting standards, and Truth in Negotiation Act
• Evaluate and negotiate terms and conditions to identify and mitigate risk based on purchase order award type, commodity, and anticipated award value
• Evaluate statements of work or bill of materials for completeness
• Evaluate source justifications to ensure compliance to the procurement award type

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with procurement in defense contracting
• Bachelor's degree

Nice to Have

• Experience evaluating software license agreements to ensure conformance with federal regulation, including GSAM or GSAR
• Experience educating on contract requirements and procurement processes
• Ability to multitask and prioritize based on demand of requirements or workload
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

This role may be remote, hybrid, or onsite:

• Remote: Generally virtual, with occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
• Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with potential visits to customer facilities as needed.
• Onsite: Primary work location at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, with direct collaboration required.

Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
