The Procurement Manager, Capital Projects will oversee all procurement activities for capital projects in North Chicago, IL. This includes managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all procurement activities for capital projects
• Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Negotiate contracts and agreements
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations
• Monitor supplier performance and make recommendations for improvement
• Develop and maintain vendor databases
• Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Proven experience in managing relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with procurement software and systems
