The Procurement Manager - Construction leads commercial execution of construction contracts across EverOn projects, translating defined project requirements into enforceable contractual and financial outcomes. This role operates within EverOn’s procurement governance framework, ensuring that all agreements are commercially sound, contractually aligned, and compliant with established standards and approval authorities. This position partners closely with Construction and Preconstruction teams, providing commercial guidance while maintaining clear separation between decentralized execution and centralized governance control. Key Responsibilities Lead commercial execution of construction contracts from defined scope through execution readiness, including contract negotiation, pricing structures, and commercial terms Translate defined project scope into clear, enforceable SOWs aligned to operational and contractual requirements Execute contract negotiations across MSA, MNDA, and SOW structures (vendor or EverOn paper), ensuring alignment with company standards Structure commercial terms including inclusions/exclusions, cost drivers, and financial frameworks to support project outcomes Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks in coordination with Legal, Risk, and GRC stakeholders Execute all activities in alignment with procurement governance standards; final contract approval and risk acceptance resides with Procurement Governance Prepare and route agreements through internal approval workflows (e.g., DocuSign) in accordance with governance control requirements Partner with Construction and Preconstruction teams to support vendor evaluation, proposal analysis, and commercial decision-making Provide commercial guidance during vendor engagement and proposal review; site teams retain ownership of scope development and vendor selection inputs Ensure adherence to procurement templates, standards, and contracting frameworks; document and escalate deviations for visibility and approval Maintain awareness of vendor capabilities, market conditions, and pricing trends; provide insights to inform enterprise sourcing and vendor strategies Support contract lifecycle activities through execution readiness, ensuring alignment with internal systems and documentation standards Qualifications 8+ years of experience in construction procurement, preconstruction, or commercial contracting Strong understanding of construction contract structures, cost drivers, and risk allocation principles Proven experience negotiating complex agreements, including MSA and SOW structures Experience working cross-functionally with Legal, Risk, and Operations teams in a structured governance environment Ability to operate independently within a fast-paced, project-driven environment while adhering to defined control frameworks Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills Additional Information Medical, dental, vision 401(k) with match PTO and paid holidays Bonus eligible We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
