Procurement Manager
Job Responsibilities
Processes systemwide requisitions utilizing all procurement sourcing methods in compliance with the SC Consolidated Procurement Code, SC Regulations, and University and departmental policies and procedures.
Solicits, evaluates, and awards offers for simple and complex purchases.
Performs contract administration duties and provides customer service to all University stakeholders including faculty, staff and supplier community.
Requirements
Universal Public Procurement Certification Council (UPPCC ), CPPO or CPPB . NIGP - CPP is preferred.
Experience related to state procurement and/or professional services.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions):
- Universal Public Procurement Certification Council (UPPCC ), CPPO or CPPB . NIGP - CPP is preferred.
- Experience related to state procurement and/or professional services.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Have knowledge of State and University policy and procedures. Familiarization with SC Consolidated Procurement Code. Capable of working harmoniously with a diverse group of people. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Good analytical and decision making skills required.
