Key Responsibilities
- Analyze pricing structures and market conditions to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor procurement budgets.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to establish and maintain partnerships.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contracts and service level.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet the organization's procurement objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and industry trends.
- Collaborate with distribution management and suppliers to forecast demand.
- Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet brand demands without excessive overstock.
- Work closely with distribution management, manufacturers, store design, and store operations teams to align procurement efforts with business strategy.
- Communicate procurement updates.
- Ensure that procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier management.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
