Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in production planning, warehouse management, inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
- Develop and implement cost reduction strategies to maximize profitability without sacrificing product quality or delivery timelines.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (D-FAR) in all supply chain activities.
- Forecast demand to ensure the availability of products and resources, taking proactive measures to avoid supply shortages or excess inventory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve the supply chain process.
- Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance, taking corrective action as needed.
- Establish strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts to secure advantageous terms.
- Train and mentor supply chain staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management in the Engineering industry, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience managing direct reports in supply chain and operations.
- Aerospace/Defense industry experience is required.
- Experience working in a high-mix, low-volume environment with complex electronic components and large BOMs.
- Proficiency in production planning, warehouse management, cost reduction strategies, inventory control, and shipping and receiving.
- Strong knowledge of FAR and D-FAR regulations.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Strong commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity.

Pay
$110,000 - $160,000 per year
