About the role
OWT Global LLC is seeking a Procurement Lead to manage the full procurement lifecycle in support of company and customer requirements from our Massachusetts location. This role will oversee purchasing, vendor management, subcontract administration, and compliance with applicable federal acquisition regulations while ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, services, and equipment. Role is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Lead end to end procurement activities including solicitation, evaluation, negotiation, and award of purchase orders and subcontracts.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships, perform vendor vetting, and manage approved source lists.
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and company procurement policies.
- Coordinate with program managers, contracts, finance, and technical teams on procurement requirements and priorities.
- Track procurement status, resolve issues, and report metrics to leadership.
- Support small business subcontracting goals and socio-economic reporting as required.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit readiness.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive procurement or purchasing experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
- Experience supporting DoD or federal government contracts.
- Active Secret clearance; U.S. Citizen.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contracting procurement practices.
- Experience with procurement systems and ERP tools.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in a defense contractor environment.
