Procurement Clerk
About the Role
The Procurement Clerk supports the procurement team through reporting, data analysis, purchase requisition review, email helpdesk activities, and administrative coordination. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to clearly communicate with individuals at all levels of management, and effective time management. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical thinking, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders. A personable approach and strong interpersonal skills are essential to collaborate across teams and build positive working relationships.
Responsibilities
- Prepare regular reports and maintain accurate records.
- Capture detailed meeting notes to support team initiatives.
- Review and answer general purchase requisition/purchase order questions from the general inbox.
- Review and approve purchase requisitions from a compliance standpoint.
Skills
- 1 year of experience in Procurement.
- Understanding of invoices, purchase orders, and payment processes.
- Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
- Familiarity with SAP Ariba (a plus), Service Now (helpful), and other SAP systems.
- KPI tracking with Excel.
- Business user assistance through helpdesk activities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong collaborative, project leadership, research, and writing skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with colleagues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
