Procurement Associate
Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve cost savings
- Issue requests for quotes and purchase orders and ensure accurate and timely processing
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand
- Manage strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing
- Track and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and logistics teams to align purchasing strategies
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain
- Monitor Supply Chain sections of budgets and track expenditure
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like delivery time, inventory levels, cost per unit, and customer satisfaction, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Identify potential supply chain disruptions, develop contingency plans, and manage risk mitigation strategies
- Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of supply chain initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply chain management or related field preferred
- 1–5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Expertise in supply chain management software and systems
- Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills
- Preferred Skills: Experience with inventory planning and demand forecasting, Knowledge of sourcing strategies and vendor management, Familiarity with contract management and compliance, Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Performance Monitoring

Work Schedule
Full-time position Monday to Friday (and Saturdays as needed)
