Procurement Analyst - Fixture Equipment

About the Role

Executes the procurement of Fixtures, Furniture, and Equipment (FFE) for the construction of new stores, remodels, and relocations. Key responsibilities include ensuring competitive pricing, highest quality, establishing and maintaining excellent supplier relationships, generating purchase orders, reviewing/processing invoices, budget management, and interfacing with internal teams to ensure the final product meets company standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute FFE procurement for House of Sport, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Golf Galaxy Performance Center new stores, remodels, and relocations on schedule and within budget.
• Generate purchase orders and review/process invoices.
• Verify and review fixture takeoffs.
• Monitor and evaluate competitive pricing by bidding vendors and/or annual renegotiation in partnership with the CapEx sourcing team.
• Investigate value engineering opportunities and negotiate national account discounts.
• Understand economic conditions and commodity costs affecting FFE packages.
• Establish FFE project pricing for finance and construction approval.
• Forecast and maintain budgets in partnership with the construction team.
• Support supplier relationship team and business review meetings to maintain positive working relationships with FFE suppliers.
• Problem-solve company and supplier issues and encourage healthy competition.
• Partner with the supplier relationship team on recurring supplier scorecards and performance conversations.
• Consolidate feedback from the construction team to suppliers on performance (both positive and constructive).
• Develop relationships and communicate regularly with FFE suppliers and internal departments (visual merchandising, construction, development, store design & planning, finance, etc.) to resolve issues.
• Assist with the development of new fixtures and support obtaining data to maintain and track FFE details in a consolidated database (pricing, specifications, drawings, installation, and delivery).
• Ensure supplier details and specifications are current and accurate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3-5 years of experience, with 5 years preferred in purchasing with a national retail chain.
