Procurement Analyst

About the role

Prepare and communicate key analytics insights related to procurement operations enabling leadership to improve decision making. Participate in the development of analytical capabilities and digitization initiatives in support of cost saving activities and risk mitigation. Gather and analyze key procurement data using data collection techniques and create metrics in order to report results to leadership to be used in business planning and strategy development. Support procurement managers development and administration of supplier assessments, scorecards, and other analytics to manage supplier performance. Support risk management assessment relating to supplier vulnerability, sourcing options, and product availability. Participates in special projects (e.g., conducting special research, developing training and/or communication materials, etc.).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or analytics.
• Two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training.
• Experience creating financial forecasts with multiple inputs and intricate reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Access, Word; PowerPoint, Outlook, ERP/ P2P systems.
• Strong project management skills.
