Procurement Agent

About the role

As a Procurement Agent you will source the right products and materials for one or more projects, ensuring high‑quality resources that enable teams to deliver exceptional results on time and within budget. You will collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to shape the supply chain and ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and evaluate vendors of materials, subcontractors, and service providers for recommendation to the Procurement Manager or other project stakeholders.
• Communicate and enforce procurement policies and procedures to district and project teams.
• Collect and maintain procurement analytics, reporting, and deliverables.
• Maintain records of goods ordered and received; support Accounts Payable reconciliation.
• Assist in the creation and negotiation of contracts under the supervision of a procurement manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Construction Management preferred.
• 1+ year of related construction experience preferred.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Strong ability to identify, track, and communicate project plan steps and actions.
• Team player who can also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals, and objectives.

Skills

• Introductory knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• General knowledge of database utilization; JD Edwards E1 World experience is a plus.

Pay

Salary range: $35.00 – $45.00 USD per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time, on‑site position located in the Austin or Dallas office (not remote).
