Processing Worker I

About the role

Sorts, cleans, prices, and stocks donated goods in a Goodwill store. Accepts donations and provides assistance on the sales floor as needed. Provides excellent customer service to donors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, clean, price, and tally donations produced for the sales floor.
• Push racks and carts to the retail floor and assist in stocking the floor and pulling merchandise.
• Open and close donations area. Accept and safeguard donations and keep processing and donation areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Assist truck helpers and drivers to load/unload trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of recent experience or successful graduation from a GISD employment program.
• Knowledge of quality clothing and merchandise (famous brand names) is preferred.
