Processing Technician I

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading American aerospace manufacturer known for producing critical components for jet engines, aerospace fasteners, titanium structures, and forged aluminum wheels for heavy-duty trucks.

About the role

We’re looking for a dependable Production Operator to join the team in Fullerton, CA and play an important role in supporting high-quality aerospace manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspecting components to ensure they meet customer and production specifications.
• Operate and train on part-washing lines and blasting equipment.
• Assist with component processing activities, including weight counting, glass beading, and changing tank solutions.
• Move parts between designated production areas as needed.
• Prepare daily production reports and required production forms.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through routine housekeeping.
• Support fellow operators with processing and production activities.
• Follow all company Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S), Quality, and operational policies.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to keep production moving safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs. and pull up to 35 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to learn equipment and production processes.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies.

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

• 2nd shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM.
• Overtime opportunities available until 2:00 AM.
• Voluntary 5-hour Saturday overtime may be available.

Additional Information

• Location: Fullerton, CA 92831.
• Steel-toe shoes or boots are required.
• Appropriate casual workwear must be worn; no jewelry, facial piercings, false eyelashes, artificial nails, or clothing with rips, tears, or holes while on shift.
• No physical examination required.
• Candidates will be subject to applicable background and employment screening requirements.
